I'm Morgan;

I'm a photographer born and developed in Georgia,

now residing in NYC.

Here's what I want you to know about me:

- I specialize in analog photography for creative purposes, with an emphasis on non-traditional film stocks and non-standard processing methods. Additionally, I have experience with more standard digital photography for simple documentary, such as weddings, engagements, and event photography.

- I take an impressionistic approach to the medium. That is to say, I'm not interested in making a technically perfect photograph. In the age of the iPhone camera and AI retouching, a "perfect" photo is the easiest photo to take. It's the rule, not the exception, and therefore boring. With film, I may not end up with the photo I expected, but it'll at least be interesting. And I'd rather an interesting photo with an unexpected quirk that catches your eye, than one that just checks all the boxes for what a good photo is "supposed" to be

- I'm not someone who's cynically hopping on the film photography train as a way to gain clients or notoriety. It's a deep passion of mine that started as a hobby and developed into a profession. I've cut my teeth in the darkroom for the past 8 years, ultimately working at a commercial film lab, and even running my own small-scale darkroom and film lab in collaboration with The Bakery in Atlanta. I know what I'm doing front-to-back, soup-to-nuts, in every step of the process.

- I believe that rules are for beginners and the uncreative. I want to experiment, have fun, and make photos that are unique and attention-grabbing. My only rule is to be good to the people around me.

- I'm open to all manner of commercial work and creative collaboration, but primarily seeking work in music, fashion, and lifestyle.
